About Us
Established in 2005, The Vermont Property Group provides real estate investments for private capital through the acquisition, development and management of commercial real estate in select growth markets. Vermont identifies underperforming assets and enhances the value of these properties by implementing active management, leasing and redevelopment strategies.
Recognized for its thorough due diligence and comprehensive analysis, Vermont fully assesses the risk profile of each investment under consideration. Vermont’s hands-on management philosophy enables it to develop and execute successful value-add strategies and maximize market value.
By participating in each investment, Vermont’s objectives are aligned with those of its investors through each phase of the deal cycle, from acquisition and value add to final disposition.
Vermont values strong relationships and works closely with its partners and key stakeholders in the execution of each project. Since its inception, Vermont has successfully completed and sold 1.7 million square feet of value-add projects.

David Eyre
Partner
David co-founded Vermont in 2005 and is invested in each of the company’s partnerships. In addition to sourcing new growth opportunities, David works closely with the Executive Team to ensure that investor returns are maximized. He identifies and develops value add strategies for the enhancement of Vermont’s portfolio and is actively engaged in each of the company’s projects.

Greg Baron
Partner
Greg oversees the financial structure of the organization. He is responsible for investment analysis, cash management, financing and investor relations. He works with the Executive Team to ensure that the company’s investment objectives are realized. Greg co-founded Vermont in 2005 and is invested in each of its partnerships.

Derek Jones
Director, Investments
Derek has a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors, Finance and Real Estate from the Sauder School of Business, UBC. He is responsible for sourcing and underwriting new investment opportunities. Derek oversees the development and execution of property repositioning strategies through asset management, leasing and financing in order to maximize value to investors.

Kay Benson
Office Manager
Kay has been with Vermont since 2006. Kay is responsible for administering all forms of documentation relating to leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and investor communications. She manages Vermont offices and oversees the support staff for each location.

David Yu
Director, Property Management
David manages Vermont’s portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties. He oversees the property management team with respect to operations, service contracts, tenant improvements and budgets. He also negotiates tenant renewals and new leases directly with tenants and with brokers. David has a Bachelor of Commerce, Management Information Systems from UBC. He is also designated as a Certified Management Accountant.

Jessica Ross
Controller
Jessica joined Vermont in 2007 and is responsible for the financial operations of its business. She manages the accounting department and oversees various levels of financial reporting, tax returns (including audits) with accounting firms and CRA. Jessica has overseen multiple companies including limited partnerships, joint ventures as well as businesses with interests in self-storage, development, investing and consulting.

DALE LEE
Operations Manager
Dale has been with Vermont since 2013. In addition to overseeing the day to day operations of Vermont’s properties, he facilitates all major capital projects, tenants improvements and service contracts.

Karen Rana
Senior Accountant
Karen focuses on the financial reporting of Vermont’s property portfolio. She also assists in the preparation of budgets, reforecasts and fiscal year-ends.
